Commitment to using this data for continuous improvement in future events to further our commitment to sustainability and community engagement, This is Athens-Agora will:

Calculate the total carbon emissions of the event using our measurement tool.

Partner with a local reforestation project to offset our carbon footprint. These initiatives collectively demonstrate the event's dedication to reducing its environmental footprint and promoting sustainable practices within the community.

For This is Athens-Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB), sustainability isn’t just a trend—it’s a fundamental shift in how tourism and events are planned, ensuring long-term benefits for visitors, locals, and the environment. As a proud member of the GSTC Greece Working Group, ACVB actively shapes the future of sustainable tourism in Athens by promoting responsible travel, supporting eco-friendly initiatives, and collaborating with local businesses that uphold sustainable values. Beyond advocacy, sustainability translates into action, providing tangible solutions and best practices for organizing more responsible events.
